Edward P. Jurkiewicz
Edward P. Jurkiewicz practices in the areas of bankruptcy (consumer & business), divorce, wills & estate planning, land use & zoning, business formation & transactions, real estate, landlord/tenant, and commercial litigation. He has tried numerous complex cases, and has trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts.
Attorney Jurkiewicz holds a Bachelor's degree from UConn and a Juris Doctor degree from UConn Law. He has received numerous recognitions for pro bono legal service, and is a member of the Commercial Law & Bankruptcy Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.
A musician and a reader of history who also enjoys cycling, tennis, hiking, and skiing in his spare time, Attorney Jurkiewicz has long been active in environmental and open-space issues. Attorney Jurkiewicz spearheaded an effort to establish a conservation commission in his hometown, which was approved unanimously by voters at a Town Meeting, and now chairs the commission he helped create. He is a past director and an active member of the Farmington River Watershed Association, and the Burlington Historical Society, and an active member of the Burlington Land Trust.
